Purpose of The Role                     

As our Creative Designer you will play a pivotal role within our marketing department.

You will take ownership over the visual identity of the brand across all touchpoints. From concept stage to final artwork supply, you will deliver on the full creative process. This is a doing vs. managing role. We are looking for a designer who is well-versed in the needs of a premium brand, as evidenced by a portfolio of work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be hands on with and responsible for the tasks below, delivering to the highest standards, to deadline, with meticulous time and record keeping.

Brand visual identity

  • Championing and being the guardian of how the brand is visually presented
  • Proactively suggesting ways we can develop and elevate the brand
  • Owning and updating our brand design guidelines document
  • Creating brand assets such as icons, logos and other brand imagery as needed
  • Developing assets to support multi-touchpoint promotional campaigns

Website, social and email design

  • Actioning UX and UI design briefs
  • Always balancing design with function
  • Making sure our website is the ultimate destination and home of the brand
  • Create best in class E-newsletters for a global consumer audience, ensuring the brand’s identity shines through in all communications
  • Creation of social media assets for both paid and organic posts.

Campaigns & Marketing Materials

  • Lead in concept creation to achieve holistic cross channel campaigns
  • Delivery of print and digital assets in line with the marketing strategy
  • Attend shoots to make sure creative standards are met
  • Creation of print materials, including brochures and seasonal packaging

As a fast-growing brand, there is likely to be plenty of ad hoc design projects to tackle.

We are looking for someone who can help shape our future. We want a Creative Designer who uses their experience to proactively bring new creative ideas to the table.

This role is an integral part of a wider marketing & eCommerce team of 9. You will be working closely with all members of the team to ensure a world class premium message is presented across all platforms.

KEY SKILLS:

Essential

Desirable

Degree in a related field and/or extensive experience as a creative designer

Canto asset management system

Highly proficient with Adobe CC suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

Experience working with a premium brand, either in-house or as part of an agency, with an understanding of what it takes creatively to grow the brand

Well-versed in brand and graphic design, with a portfolio to back this up

HTML/CSS, Animation, UX/UI design, basic video editing.

Experience with website and email design

Strong working knowledge of visual design theory (i.e. composition, colour theory, layout, branding, typography etc.)

Canto asset management system or similar

Up to date knowledge of the latest design trends Creative flair and a good eye for detail.

 

Print – Brochures, Advertising, Packaging

 

Strong organisational and communication skills
