GRADE

We categorise our Ex-Demo wetsuit in grades, from A to D. This is based on the condition of the wetsuit and will not affect the overall performance of the wetsuit in the water. The grading conditions are non-negotiable and by purchasing an Ex-Demo wetsuit you are agreeing to the grading terms highlighted below:

Grade A-New without packaging / like new or almost as good as new. Tags are likely missing, and they may have been used for activities such as sizing & visual demo’s or may just have lost the box. The suit will be in perfect condition with no large nicks or damage from use. Extremely small marks may be present on the wetsuit but there will not be any human-made damage to the wetsuit for it to be considered an A Grade wetsuit.

Grade B- Likely to have been used as event or store demo suits for sizing or may have been on a rack or on display for the season. Grade B wetsuits will have the odd mark, nick or possible slight cosmetic marks/damage (e.g. fingernail marks, fading/peeling to design), as well as aspects of Grade A. Grade B wetsuits will still perform perfectly. Grade B suits may have been also used in test/hire situations so may have slight wear to them but very low levels.

Grade C- wetsuits will come with small/occasional patch repairs. They will also come with nicks and marks. Some products will have larger fingernail marks than those in Grade B. Grade C wetsuits are perfectly usable and will not have any performance-related shortcomings. Simply the aesthetic and the condition of the suit will vary to that of a brand new, unused wetsuit.

Grade D- wetsuits will have larger or more frequent nicks and marks than those suits listed as Grade C. When purchasing a Grade D wetsuit they may come with marks thatneed repairing at your discretion (either by yourself or through a neoprene repair company). We recommend purchasing neoprene glue with your Grade D purchase. The Grade D wetsuit will perform perfectly however it will come with some aesthetic damage.

Designed for both swimming and running, to remove the need for a kit change, the Versa is a stripped down version of the Zone3 Evolution. This gives newcomers the chance to get a high performing suit at an entry level price.

Lower flexibility materials and flat-lock stitching has enabled the price to be brought down but without sacrificing functionality. The Versa combines a great fitting swim wetsuit with the benefit of high stretch leg panels for running and a front zip for lung expansion and breathability on the run.

Key features

  • Brand New Yamamoto #39 SCS Free-Flexshoulder panel provides a comfortable and energy-efficient swim.
  • X-10 one-piece shoulder paneldesign extends across the chest and shoulders to give more flexibility, comfort and stroke efficiency.
  • B.R.E:Body Rotation Enhancement panel on the front chest helps maximise distance per stroke and body roll during your swim.
  • 14% weight reductionversus 2020 model despite offering more buoyancy.
  • 10 different materialsused to ensure maximum performance, comfort and durability whilst still maintaining an attractive price point.
  • 5mm buoyancy panelson the torso and front legsandAerodome on the hip panels to offer superior core support.
  • Aerodomeis a unique material designed with air bubbles built between the fabric layers to make it lighter and more buoyant, producing up to 30% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene.
  • Combination of SCS or AQUA-X coatingsto significantly reduce drag and improve durability.
  • Pro Speed Arm and Leg cuffsmake it one of the fastest suits in transition.
  • LaserPrecisioncollarprovides a comfortable "soft-close" fit around the neck.
  • Eco-Friendly Neopreneis derived from naturally occurring limestone and utilizes scrap rubber tyres as part of the production process to significantly reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The majority of neoprene production waste is recycled back into the suits, helping to minimise landfill waste and help protect the environment we train in.

Benefits of a wetsuit featuring Yamamoto material:

  • Speed: The aqua dynamic 'SCS' Nano coating applied to the neoprene creates almost zero drag through the water. A drag coefficient of just 0.021 compared with 4.0 for regular neoprene wetsuits. The SCS coating also prevents the suit from absorbing water, therefore avoiding excess weight in the wetsuit.
  • Flexibility: A massive 480-580% in elongation, compared with human skin (underarm) which is just 60-70%. Superior flexibility and comfort with an expansion of 7x conventional wetsuit materials.
  • Warmth: High heat retention: Keeping the body warmer in colder waters to help reduce body fatigue and improve performance.
  • Eco: The neoprene is also derived from limestone opposed to petroleum which is more environmentally friendly.
