The ZONE3 Kona Swimskin features short sleeves and a Tropical print design to give a nod to the Kona Ironman world champs. The suit is designed to offer the ultimate core support and reduce drag during non-wetsuit swims.

What is SCS swim fabric?

This technology is most commonly found on high-end wetsuit models, but only now has become available for use on swimwear which is required to reach FINA and WTC approval.

High-density knitted structure with 100% water repellent SCS coating.

SCS (Super Composite Skin) technology allows only the surface of the suit to have hydrophilic property therefore meeting FINA approval.

A surface frictional resistance of 0.025cdf compared to industry-standard 1.8cdf making it the fastest swimskin in the world.

  2. Premium X2R fabric panels offer core support and reduced drag. X2R is one of the lightest and most compressive fabrics available; it is extremely hydrophobic with only a 5% water absorption rate. 
  3. Minimal, fully bonded seams reduce any potential drag. 
  4. Heavily researched panel layout to provide a compression fit to reduce drag and provide full body support.
  5. Designed to be worn over a short sleeve trisuit making it ideal for non-wetsuit competitions.
  6. Unique short sleeve panel design allows for unrestricted total freedom of movement whilst providing full coverage for your trisuit underneath.
  7. Auto-lock zip with cord for fast removal.
  8. Suitable for 70.3/Middle Distance and Full IM/Distance non-wetsuit swims.

What’s up with the decals peeling off after 1 use?!?

"The suit is fine. I feel a bit of restriction on the shoulders after sending pics to the customer service department they told me it was the right fit. After they confirmed the size and fit, I Used it ONCE on a 20min test swim. Rinsed it in fresh water and followed the care instructions. Drying inside out, avoid hanging, and even the how to fold it instructions. Next time I used it was for a 2KM and when I grabbed it noticed the decals peeling off the swimskin… a suit over $300 literally damaged after a 20min swim. Disappointing to say the least."

"I had been thinking about getting a swimskin for a few years, but it seemed like such an investment. I can honestly say I should have got one sooner. Coming from a swimming background I like to start triathlons at the pointy end and this will certainly aid me. The build quality is amazing, it hugs my figure and the seams keep the arm and legs to my skin. The hydrophobic coating literally makes you feel like you're slipping through the water. Another beautiful thing is the way it does not mess with my natural positioning; there is no massive floaty legs syndrome, just slick speed. Oh and it looks as good as it feels! Perfect."
