UK Independent Retail Accounts, Zone3 Promo Accounts and Zone3 Custom Clubs  


Competitive with OTE up to £40k + Company Vehicle


About the Role

The role is new for Zone3 as we have identified the need for two UK Regional Account Managers  to come in and drive business growth in both existing and new independent retail partners, along with growing our newly established Custom Teamwear selling to triathlon clubs. Additionally, to service clubs and events through custom wear and Zone3’s Promotional range.  

You will be on the road 4.5 days per week covering your sales territory; visiting key partners on a regular basis both selling in the brand and assisting the partners with sell through via training, merchandising and brand activation.

The role will involve a number of weekend days working per annum for which time off in lieu will be given.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate sales growth in their current role and will be looking for their next career move in the world of sales from either currently an Account Executive, Sales Executive or in Telesales.

Preferred location -  home counties.


  • To grow Zone3 across our full brand portfolio (Zone3, Zone3 Promo & Zone3 Custom)
  • To grow the Zone3 brand portfolio in new independent retail partners in the UK
  • To grow our recently launched Teamwear Collection – Zone3 Custom - to UK Triathlon Clubs
  • To grow Zone3 presence in mass participation events with Zone3 Promo merchandise
  • Contact supplied leads and generating your own leads for new business opportunities
  • Conduct (virtual) sales pitches and presentations
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Activate the brand in both independent and central purchase stores through store training and other marketing activity such as demo swim sessions.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer service
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to generate new business
  • Stay up to date with competition and market changes
  • Excellent communication - ensuring that customers understand and are kept informed of all aspects of the partnership throughout the process.
  • A 50/50 split between Account Management growth and New Business Development
  • Working closely with the B2B Customer Services team to ensure first class customer service for your retail partners

The role reports to the Head of UK Sales and is an integral part of a wider sales and customer service team. As such, you will be working closely with all team members to ensure a world class experience for all our retail partners.

Key Skills:



Experience in an Account Management role – preferably within the sports goods industry

Knowledge of the UK Sports Retail environment

Sales experience of selling product to the independent sector

Knowledge of UK Triathlon Clubs

Experience and ability to drive new business with independent retailers


Excellent communication skills – internal & external, written & verbal


Strong negotiation skills – the ability to propose / sell in solutions to buyers


Ability to work to conflicting internal / external deadlines


 Very organised – ability to prioritise multiple tasks whilst maintaining a quality output


IT literate with Microsoft 365 and Teams software


 Extensive social & business networks




  • At least 3 years previous sales experience
  • Full, clean driving licence
