Digital Marketing Events Coordinator

Salary Range: £ based on experience
Experience Level: 2 + years experience in similar role

The nature of the growing business means we have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Events Coordinator to join the team, based at the offices near Guildford, Surrey.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate all Zone3 UK events, maximising ROI from these opportunities.
  • Have a good understanding of how mass emails, social media and brand awareness can increase sales.
  • Manage event logistics and ‘Event Branding’ for key partners such as retailers, distributors and event partners
  • Ability to work at key events within the Zone3 calendar
  • Manage all pre and post-event activation's
  • Provide feedback/reports and KPI’s
  • Reporting to the International Marketing Manager, manage event contracts and renewals, along with finding new potential opportunities for Zone3
  • Work effectively with other teams to ensure all aspects of the event are well structured, clearly planned and carried out.
  • Secure merchandising deals with existing Zone3 sponsored event partners and coordinate the process from design to delivery with each partner.
  • Working with the International Marketing Manager, create a media matrix for Zone3 products to be sent out for review.

Candidate Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent education required
  • Previous experience in a marketing or communications specific

Social Media & P.R Coordinator 

Salary Range: £18,000 to £22,000 pa based on experience
Experience Level: 1-2 years experience in similar role

The nature of our growing business means we have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media and P.R Coordinator to join the team, based at the offices in Guildford, Surrey.

Reporting to the Creative Brand Manager, The Social Media and P.R Coordinator key job responsibilities will include:

Social Media Requirements:

  • Scheduling across social media platforms, including web pages, blogs, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram posts to engage and grow our audience, web traffic, registrations and conversions.
  • Using web analytics such as Google Analytics to report on the company’s social channel
  • Creative captivating and thought leading content for our blog (8 per month minimum) from copy, photo/video’s for the post, proofing and ensuring it meets Zone3 brand guidelines, posting and sharing as part of the Z3 omnichannel strategy.
  • Regular reporting on Social platform performance, blog performance, budget allocation, Ambassador & elite races – This role requires weekend social posting during race season
  • Organising competitions with partner brands and taking ownership of competitions from start to finish.

P.R Requirements:

  • Manage all PR and global brand awareness for Zone3 within the triathlon industry
  • Ensure PR timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverable meet deadlines.
  • Manage distribution of press materials, EPKs, media packs etc.
  • Manage press events such as press trips, experiences events and any other PR initiatives
  • Circulate brand story content and write press releases to gain coverage of Zone3 in the media
  • Manage and administer product reviews
  • Manage product seeding and distribution to worldwide media and allocate samples accordingly, ensuring coverage is maximised
  • Reach out to global tri-related media globally for editorials, competitions and advertorials opportunities, feeding back results to the International Marketing Manager
  • Work with social and design teams to integrate community and PR plans.
  • Work with Sponsorship Coordinator to leverage influence's to raise awareness of new and existing products or key events within the year
  • Create fresh ideas to grow the Zone3 brand globally and get front of mind with consumers
  • Analysis of effectiveness of PR channels through coverage and campaign reporting, including quantitative, qualitative and KPI assessments.
  • Competitor analysis

The successful candidate will require:

  • Previous experience in swim / cycle / run / triathlon market is highly desirable
  • University degree or equivalent education required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a social media marketing or communications specific role
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships
  • Excellent writing ability with proven commercial evidence
  • Energetic and vibrant personality
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Professional manner and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently

Marketing Intern

Duration: Internship: 3 months (Start date April 2019)
Salary: £12,272.00 - £16,286.40 (calculated by current minimum wage guidance and skills/experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our Agile Marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies, every day will be varied, and you will extensive insight into all aspects of sports marketing.

As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities
  • Prepare promotional material to be sent to our partners
  • Help distribute marketing materials & help organise marketing events

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
