Jessica Fullagar
Jessica's Story
Jess got started in triathlon because her Mum did one and then entered her and her brother into one that summer. She loved being active and outdoors with her family and naturally fell in love with triathlon, then joining her local club.
Jess joined the World Class Programme in 2024, marking a key step in her progression within British Triathlon. Alongside competing independently at domestic and international level, she has also played a pivotal role as a guide, helping PTVI paratriathlete Katie Crowhurst secure a gold medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Representing Great Britain, Fullagar has competed across both U23 and senior racing categories, regularly placing inside the top 15 at World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon events. She has claimed the British Sprint Championship, won the British Triathlon Senior Super Series, and placed seventh at the World Triathlon U23 Championships in Abu Dhabi. More recently, she recorded a fifth-place finish at the World Championships in Wollongong.
Inspiration
Jessica Ennis-Hill was an inspiration to me growing up. The 2012 Olympic Games lit a spark in me, andI’veloved following many sports since then.
Greatest Challenge
I think qualifying for the 2028 Olympics will be my greatest challenge ,but I’m extremely driven to achieve this, and I look forward to the journey ahead.
SEASON GOALS
I would like to keep layering consistent training, whilst performing at the pointy end of WTCS races, whetherthat’sin the delivery or pure outcome.
Best Result to Date
Finishing 5that the Grand Final in Wollongong in 2025. It was a surprise result for me, and I was super stoked with the way I put that race together. It felt like a full performance.
Race you have enjoyed the most
I loved racing in Noosa this year. It was my first non-drafting experience which I really enjoyed but also the whole atmosphere around the event was cool to be a part of.
Top Tips & Advice
Fall in love with the process! Training has many ups and downs, but if you can find a way to enjoy it every day, the journey is so much sweeter.
Fun Fact
I grew up in France. I was able to learn French fluently and I find that incredibly useful today.
