Jessica's Story

Jess got started in triathlon because her Mum did one and then entered her and her brother into one that summer. She loved being active and outdoors with her family and naturally fell in love with triathlon, then joining her local club.

Jess joined the World Class Programme in 2024, marking a key step in her progression within British Triathlon. Alongside competing independently at domestic and international level, she has also played a pivotal role as a guide, helping PTVI paratriathlete Katie Crowhurst secure a gold medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Representing Great Britain, Fullagar has competed across both U23 and senior racing categories, regularly placing inside the top 15 at World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon events. She has claimed the British Sprint Championship, won the British Triathlon Senior Super Series, and placed seventh at the World Triathlon U23 Championships in Abu Dhabi. More recently, she recorded a fifth-place finish at the World Championships in Wollongong.

If you don’t fall down from time to time, you aren’t trying hard enough”
