Strategically placed buoyancy panels help lift the legs and core, promoting a more balanced swimming position and reducing resistance through the water. High-stretch shoulder and arm panels allow a full, unrestricted range of motion, supporting a smooth, efficient stroke as distances increase. Hydrodynamic surface treatments minimise drag, while precision patterning ensures each wetsuit works with the body rather than against it. Practical features such as quick-release cuffs are designed to support fast, confident exits from the water when transitions matter.
ZONE3 is currently the only triathlon brand using B-Prene® by Yamamoto within its wetsuit range. B-Prene® is a cutting-edge rubber that delivers the same flexibility, buoyancy, and durability expected from premium Yamamoto neoprene, with a clearly defined end-of-life advantage. Once a wetsuit reaches the end of its usable life and is disposed of in landfill conditions, B-Prene® is designed to biodegrade by approximately 30% within 522 days. This process only begins after disposal and does not affect performance, structure, or longevity while the wetsuit is in use.
Alongside B-Prene®, other wetsuits in the collection are constructed using limestone-based neoprene, which reduces reliance on petroleum-based materials while maintaining consistent warmth, stretch, and durability in open water conditions. These material choices reflect ZONE3’s approach to advancing wetsuit construction through measurable innovation, applied directly to performance-focused products.
