ZONE3 is currently the only triathlon brand using B-Prene® by Yamamoto within its wetsuit range. B-Prene® is a cutting-edge rubber that delivers the same flexibility, buoyancy, and durability expected from premium Yamamoto neoprene, with a clearly defined end-of-life advantage. Once a wetsuit reaches the end of its usable life and is disposed of in landfill conditions, B-Prene® is designed to biodegrade by approximately 30% within 522 days. This process only begins after disposal and does not affect performance, structure, or longevity while the wetsuit is in use.
Alongside B-Prene®, other wetsuits in the men’s collection are constructed using limestone-based neoprene, reducing reliance on petroleum-based materials while maintaining consistent warmth, stretch, and durability in open water conditions.
