Warranty
Your ZONE3 wetsuit or trisuit is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
If a manufacturing defect occurs during normal use, we will assess the product and, where appropriate, repair or replace it.
Normal use means the product has been cared for correctly and used as intended. This includes following the care instructions provided with your purchase and on this page. Reasonable precautions should always be taken to protect the condition of your wetsuit or trisuit.
Please note that exposure to extreme heat, prolonged direct sunlight, chlorine, bacteria, and other abrasive or harsh substances can accelerate material degradation and may void your warranty. High-performance materials, including neoprene, can also be damaged by fingernails and other sharp objects.
ZONE3 does not cover damage caused by accidental damage, misuse, poor care, or wear from normal use over time. We reserve the right to determine whether a claim falls within normal use and correct product care.
Not Covered Under the
ZONE3 Warranty
- The cost of returning an item to ZONE3 or an authorised ZONE3 representative.
- Cuts, tears, or punctures caused by fingernails or other sharp objects.
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, scratches, peeling, or logo wear.
- Ex-demo wetsuits of any grade.
- Second-hand products or products not owned by the original purchaser.
If your claim is approved as a warranty case, ZONE3 will cover the return shipping cost for sending the repaired or replacement item back to you.
These situations will void your ZONE3 Warranty
- Your wetsuit or trisuit is used for any purpose other than triathlon, open water swimming, or surface swimming.
- Repairs are carried out by anyone other than ZONE3 or an authorised ZONE3 repair partner.
- The suit is altered in any way, including printing, embroidery, heat transfer, cutting, gluing, or sewing.
- The suit is used in a rental programme, instructional setting, or any other commercial environment.
- The product has been stored or handled improperly.
- The product was purchased second-hand or the claim is made by anyone other than the original purchaser.
Returning you suit under
warranty
To start a warranty return, please use our returns platform. You will need your order number and the email address used to place the order.
To help us assess your claim as quickly as possible, please upload clear images of the fault when submitting your return.
Wetsuit Care Instructions
Please follow some of these simple guidelines to ensure that your wetsuit stays in the optimum condition:
• Rinse well in fresh water after every use.
• Minimise time left in direct sunlight and aim to dry in the shade.
• Dry inside out first and then dry outside.
• Store Rightside Out
• Best kept flat or folded behind the knees and then in half.
• Only use a hanger for short periods of time and use as wide a hanger as possible.
• Do not allow others to use your wetsuit. It has been fitted for your body shape and no body larger.
• Avoid contacting the Velcro with the inside lining of the wetsuit as this will pull on the sensitive fibres. Keep the Velcro covered with the fabric patch provided.
• Ensure you do not damage the wetsuit material with fingernails.
• Avoid use in Chlorinated swimming pools
• Always use a plastic bag to help put the legs and arms on. The smooth surface of the plastic makes the suit go on easier. This results in less adjustments needed and less contact with the material to achieve the correct position.
• The ZONE3 triathlon wetsuit range has been designed to optimise performance during racing. Its use should be restricted to swimming or triathlon racing.
• Don’t put in the washing machine or tumble dryer.
• Don’t iron.
• Don’t wash with detergent or bleach.
Tri Apparel care instructions
Please follow some of these simple guidelines to ensure that your tri suit stays in the optimum condition:
• Wash well in fresh water after every use.
• Only ring very lightly.
• Minimise time left in direct sunlight and aim to dry in the shade.
• Do no hang or curl your suit when drying. Dry lying flat on a towel.
• The ZONE3 tri suit range has been designed to optimise performance during racing. Its use should be restricted to swimming or triathlon racing.
• Don’t put in the washing machine or tumble dryer.
• Don’t iron.
• Don’t wash with detergent or bleach
