How do I care for my trisuit?
Please follow some of these simple guidelines to ensure that your tri suit stays in optimum condition: - Wash well in fresh water after every use. - Only rinse very lightly. - Minimise time left in direct sunlight and aim to dry in the shade. - Do not hang or curl your suit when drying. Dry lying flat on a towel. - The ZONE3 tri suit range has been designed to optimise performance during racing. Its use should be restricted to swimming or triathlon racing. - Don't put in the washing machine or tumble dryer. - Don't iron. - Don't wash with detergent or bleach.

Does your apparel provide SPF protection?
UPF stands for ultraviolet protection factor and represents the ratio of sunburn-causing UV without and with the protection of the fabric, similar to SPF (sun protection factor) ratings for sunscreen. Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the sun’s rays and allows two percent (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure to sun significantly. All our apparel provides coverage, which may help protect against the suns harmful rays. Some of our range (Lava and Aeroforce) have a thin mesh panel on the back which will not provide the same level of coverage as the rest of the suit. We strongly recommend that sunscreen is worn underneath your tri apparel if wearing for extended periods outdoors.

What are the differences between half-zip and full-zip
A half-zip trisuit provides ventilation and a snug fit, enhancing both aerodynamics and hydrodynamics. In contrast, a full-zip trisuit allows you to fully open the top half, offering superior ventilation and easier toilet breaks. This makes full-zip suits more comfortable for long-distance races. Additionally, full-zip trisuits are easier to put on and provide greater overall comfort

Why does my trisuit have leg/arm grippers?
Tacky silicone dots or tight fabric grippers on the interior leg and arm cuffs keep your trisuit secure, ensuring easy wetsuit entry and preventing the suit riding up during the bike or run.

What are the pockets used for?
Pockets within Triwear can be used for a variety of things like your keys or your phone, but are most commonly used as storage for nutrition pouches/gels or snacks during your race.
