Vanquish-X Wetsuit
Key Features
Snug everywhere, restrictive nowhere. You should feel the suit holding your body without pinching at the shoulders or compressing your chest to the point where breathing feels laboured. If you can't take a full breath on land, size up. If there's loose material across the shoulders or chest, size down. Air pockets at the lower back usually mean you need a longer suit, such as an MT (Medium Tall), not a smaller size.
Size down if you're racing — a tighter fit gives you more from the suit's buoyancy and reduces water flushing. Size up if you're prioritising comfort for longer open water swims or training sessions where you'll be in the suit for extended periods.
Take your time the first time. Undo the zip fully and fold the top half of the wetsuit down, zip on the back. Start at the ankles and slowly work the neoprene up your legs in sections —don't try to pull from the top. Smooth out any air pockets as you go, particularly around the lower legs and crotch, before pulling the suit up over your torso. Reaching your hands towards the sky and helps to slide the arm sleeves into place. Use the pads of your fingers throughout, never your fingernails. The Silk-X lining will make this easier than most suits, but neoprene always requires patience on the first few wears. It will get easier as the suit breaks in.

"great wetsuit"
"Looks great. Comfortable. Tight in the right places. Really good flexibility around shoulders and arms. Also really liked that it came with a bag, hat and googles. Obviously this suit comes at a significant premium over the majority of suits on the market. Still prefer swimming sleeveless but for a colder swim, this was great."
"Great suit ! I am a better swimmer with vanquish! Great buoyancy and very flexible at the shoulders !"
"The Vanquish puts you in brilliant position in the water to optimise your stroke. The buoyant leg panels perfect close fit & thin fabric around your shoulders make the vanquish one of the best if not the best wetsuit I have every used."
"A wetsuit which doesn’t compromise speed or mobility. Having swam in so many restrictive wetsuits, there was none into the shoulders here which gave it the natural swim feel. Easy to take off in transition and would recommended for OW swimming and triathlon."
"After 3 outings I can safely say that the shoulder range and arm freedom this suit offers is fantastic. The super thin fabric & neoprene offers a snug supportive fit without compromising on movement. I get much better catch feedback because of this and can swim much more freely. My swimming feels effortless and I'm not fighting the suit or having to modify my stoke, it's as close to 'skins' swimming I have felt in a wetsuit. The leg panels offer a lot of buoyancy - slightly more than my 2023 Aspire. This felt odd on the first swim but now its fine. The body panels offer good support and body position in the water. The cuffs are designed for easy removal which works well although be careful not to catch your watch in the thinner fabric. I love swimming in my Vanquish however to keep it in good condition I always take my time and use gloves to put it on - user error could easily damage the suit esp with the thinner arm construction. I've not yet raced in it but I will in a few weeks and look forwards to seeing the results. I advise checking the Vanquish specific size guide before purchasing as the sizing is slightly different to other Zone3 wetsuits. Eg: My Aspire is a Large but I needed my Vanquish in XL and I'm pleased I sized up!"
"Its probably the best wetsuit that you find on the market currently. Perfect flexibility, excellent moves, true size. Easy to care and store."
"Very pleased with my Christmas present to myself. Great fit with fantastic flexibility in the shoulders. Looking forward to the new triathlon season"
"I broke a cardinal rule with racing, I bought the vanquish x and my first wear was t100 race, after a major rip in my previous wetsuit by a different brand however the vanquish x made race day nervous vanish, I felt comfortable, it fit like a glove and its performance was top tier, during transition, I was also able to get out of it no problem, I do wish there was speed Zip just to make it that little bit quicker."
"Fantastic! Did my first full Iron Man in this suit, it gave me confidence to glide through the water safely and with confidence, it's technically brilliant, well made and I love it. I am women's size 10-12 (usually a 10 but increased upper body and thigh dimensions through training) height 5ft 5in, size M is great for me."
